They should be offered a
dustbath on a daily basis
to help keep their fur clean
and encourage good
grooming skills.

Preventing a chinchilla
from having a bath for a
long period of time, will
cause oil and moisture to
build up within the fur
provoking skin problems or
worse - disease.
